A legal action has been launched against ABC News journalist Ben Loberg over comments he made in which he suggested he was in the “business” of “making babies”.
The barrister for the Attorney-General, Mark Lippin, says his client is not “in the business” of making babies.

The barrister also says that the statement is a “travesty of a serious nature” and is a breach of section 13A of the Australian Human Rights Commission Act 1986.
“The Attorney-Generals Office has been asked to represent Mr Loberc in this matter and to ensure that the matter is dealt with properly,” Mr Lippincs statement of claims reads.
