Bradshaw Law Office, the law firm best known for its representation of celebrities and their attorneys, just filed a $4.5 million lawsuit against Donald Trump for alleged defamation.
Bradshaw says Trump’s disparaging statements about the law school’s attorneys have caused him to lose tens of thousands of dollars in income, damage his personal reputation, and jeopardize his employment.
Trump is also the subject of the lawsuit.
Bradhams lawsuit seeks to have Trump fired, and alleges that Trump’s actions have “embarrassed, embarrassed, and disheartened” the Bradshaw firm.
Bradley, who is representing the Bradhams in the lawsuit, said the lawsuit stems from Trump’s repeated statements and public statements, as well as his alleged “inappropriate and insulting” remarks.
Trump was not at the law office at the time of the defamation lawsuit.
Trump’s attorney, Robert Barnett, said Bradshaw will fight Trump for damages, and he will be seeking additional injunctive relief.
Barnett said that the Bradleys lawsuit is the first of its kind against the president.
Trump, who has faced scrutiny from both sides of the aisle for his handling of the investigation into his campaign’s ties to Russia, is currently serving a 12-month prison sentence for obstruction of justice.
Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
